Growing a sensory garden:
Location: Womens Community Projects
Date: 22nd May
NOT OPEN TO PUBLIC
Learn how to turn your garden into a sensory delight, while making a safe space for a variety of wildlife.
We’ll discuss each of the 5 senses in turn, and what plants or features of a garden – from an apartment balcony to a large field – can increase mindfulness, and stimulate your senses. We will focus on low maintenance, high impact plants that thrive in the local conditions.
Participants will go home with a list of plants that are easy to grow in our Irish climate, and that support pollinators and other wildlife. And with renewed enthusiasm for the natural world and how it can support their mental health.
