Get the Flax – a Creative Westmeath funded collaboration between Anna Browne of Big Sky Flowers and Bertille de Lestrade of Studio Bleu.
This workshop looks at the global clothing industy and encourages participants to ‘make do and mend’. Anyone who has visited Bertilles Studio, or has seen her instagram feed will have seen her wonderful works of embroidery. Bring a piece of clothing that you love, that needs a little TLC to make it wearable again. We’ll show you how to do some basic embroidery stitches, and maybe even help you to design something to cover that stain that won’t budge.
As usual, we will have tea, cake and chat as part of the evening in Studio Bleu
