Description
Home Sweet Home – a Creative Westmeath funded collaboration between Anna Browne of Big Sky Flowers and sculptor Martina Coyle.
This workshop looks at the biodiversity, and sparks a discussion on simple things that we can do to recognise and promote these tiny but importing living creatures that are all around us. Participants will create a ‘bug snug’/ habitation for beneficial insects using recycled branches, stems and other plant materials. This unique feature will enhance your growing space, but it will also made a cosy home for the helpful garden visitors to overwinter on.
As usual, we will have tea, cake and chat as part of the evening in the beautiful surrounds of the Refill Mill.
This event takes place on Thursday 12 June, 7-9pm.
