Description

This course will run in January – a good time of year to think about healthier eating habits! Sushi and other Japanese dishes are a delicious way to lighten up a meal.

In this sociable course, participants will learn about the ingredients, techniques and equipment needed to make 3 kinds of sushi – sashimi, norimaki and nigiri.

We will cook and season rice, prepare a variety of fillings – vegetarian and a little fish. All participants will then get practice at rolling norimaki.

We will also make Miso soup and a typical Japanese salad.

At the conclusion of the class we will enjoy eating the delicious Japanese food that we have made.

Class takes place Friday January 14th, 6pm-9pm.
